As property investors and occupiers, developers and lenders, our clients' property interests are at the very heart of their business affairs. As such, our commercial property team understands the need to provide service of a consistently high standard.
To meet the needs of our clients we have formed four working groups within Commercial Property:

Business Property Group:

This group has been formed to offer cost-effective services geared to the needs of local business in Edinburgh and South-East Scotland. It has particular expertise in advising licensed properties, care homes, local traders and smaller investors. It also works closely with our employment and commercial lawyers to offer, where needed, a wider business services package for medium and developing businesses. In addition, the team works with our Chinese language services to offer business property advice to the local Chinese community.

Property investment & Development:

We have a wide range of clients in this sector, including industrial and rural landowners, investors, developers and occupiers. Major land development projects, leasing arrangements and brownfield redevelopment are dealt with by this group.

Property finance & Banking:

Here we have long experience of secured lending and bank facility documentation, acting for lenders or borrowers in all fields of commercial property and development. SIPPS and other pension scheme transactions are also a speciality.

Housebuilders Group:

With a long history of property development work for landowners and developers, the department was well placed to offer advice to housebuilder companies. The scale of our activities has warranted a special group combining site acquisition legal experts with an experienced team of paralegals dealing with volume unit sales.
