Gillespie Macandrew has many international dealings and contacts in both commercial and private client matters.

Aside from exiled Scots and inward investors, the firm represents multi-nationals and SMEs in matters of international trade and cross-border contracts and litigation. With such work in mind the firm is a member of Lexwork International (a co-operation of independent law firms) and is its Scottish representative. Lexwork International's philosophy is one of referral on merit and no member is bound to refer exclusively to other members. The choice of international advisors remains with the client and is at the recommendation of the firm.
