Consultant
Keith has worked as a Consultant at Gillespie Macandrew
for over 3 years, having joined the firm in a merger
from Haig-Scott, where he had been a partner for 25 years.
Throughout his career, Keith has specialised in two key areas
of law. His first area of specialism is within the commercial
property field, where his focus has been on buying and selling
small businesses and commercial leases. He works for a very
wide breadth of clients within this field, from large property
owners to very small businesses.
Keith's second area of specialism places him as a key
player within the firm's dispute resolution team.
His work covers a wide breath of litigation cases, primarily
in the Court of Session, while his niche area within this field is
defamation, Keith has also assisted a large Local Authority
for a number of years in dealing with Court of Session matters in
which they are involved.
He has also built up a significant
client base within the Chinese community.
Outside of work, he has always been a keen rugby player
until last year, when his hopes to become Scotland's oldest rugby
player were dashed due to an injury. He is therefore now an
armchair sports supporter.
