Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Gordon is Head of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Services department. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1979 and becoming
a partner in 1982, he has significant expertise in litigation,
arbitration and adjudication and advising on construction and
engineering contracts. Gordon has over 30 years' experience in
Court of Session, Sheriff Court and Tribunals advising and
representing clients on all aspects of arbitration, construction
law and professional negligence.
Gordon trained with AC Bennett & Fairthweather, then through
merger joined Bennett & Robertson and latterly Gillespie
Macandrew. He is a Notary Public, Writer to the Signet and a legal
tutor at Edinburgh University.
