Harry specialises in residential development work and heads our
Housebuilder Team, a team that is dedicated to the needs of the
house building industry. Twenty five years of involvement with
housebuilders, including eight years located within the offices of
two national housebuilders means that there are few other
solicitors in Scotland with more insight into the needs of the
housebuilding industry. Harry has acted for Beazer, Persimmon,
Bett, Cala, Barratt, Miller, Wimpey and Turnberry Homes and has
wide commercial property and business experience.
Harry provides realistic, commercial advice across a broad
spectrum of subjects to clients and has been involved in a number
of high value and complex transactions including being the lead
partner in a multi-million pound acquisition of a former hospital
site for a consortium of builders, the acquisition of a parcel of
more than 200 acres of development land in West Lothian and a
syndicate funded joint venture development in Fife. He deals with
all aspects of land acquisition, development, infrastructure,
funding and planning agreements, site assembly, set up and
supervision of plot disposal works.
