Kirsty heads up the Strategic Land Group
and the Energy, Climate Change & Natural Resources
Group.
Acting for both developers and landowners in the
sale/purchase of land for residential and mixed use development,
she has experience in dealing with both greenfield and brownfield
sites and site assembly. She also acts for various clients in
the purchase and sale of investment properties and deals with the
ongoing management work of industrial estates and office
blocks.
Within our Energy, Climate Change and Natural
Resources Group, Kirsty's focus is on onshore energy. She has acted
on numerous wind and hydro energy projects on behalf of landowners
and developers and has particular expertise in dealing
with the issues arising with adjacent landowners involved in the
same wind energy or hydro project. Having acted
for both developers and landowners, she has a unique understanding
of the commercial points and practical issues arising for both
parties and has the ability to translate legal jargon into
plain English!
Away from the office Kirsty enjoys sailing (big
boats!), cross country ski-ing and fishing.
