Simon has an extraordinary breadth of knowledge
with a thorough grounding in private client tax and trust law but
also land law; in particular development land. He represents
a large range of clients including a number of Scotland's
wealthiest individuals and leading landowners.
Simon also advises clients on some of the
largest potential housing developments in Scotland and has obtained
zoning of land in the local plan and detailed planning for housing
developments for a range of private clients in recent years.
Simon holds a variety of directorships and is a
Trustee to a number of significant trusts. He is a member of the
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
His breadth of experience and business acumen
makes him a significant asset to his clients.
