Senior Solicitor/Associate – Corporate

Gillespie Macandrew has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Solicitor or Associate to join our established Corporate team.

The successful candidate will become involved in a varied range of work including dealing with commercial company setup, M&A and restructuring as well as commercial contract and other commercial legal work. There is opportunity for the candidate to build their career in corporate and commercial law acting for a range of clients from large companies to SMEs and to gain exposure to corporate work for clients of the firm’s market-leading sectors including energy and land and rural business.

This role requires a highly motivated, collaborative and commercially minded team player with excellent technical skills and a strong client focussed approach. The ideal candidate will be very personable and have a commitment to providing an excellent level of client service, demonstrating a strong positive, proactive attitude. Communication and presentation skills must be strong.

The successful candidate will contribute to the financial success of the team and the Firm by meeting agreed targets.  Candidates will also be expected to have experience of contributing to business development and marketing strategies.
