Chair
Michael is an experienced lawyer and senior executive who spent over 20 years in private practice at leading City firms Herbert Smith Freehills and Clifford Chance, before becoming Deputy Group General Counsel at Barclays in 2009, and then RBS/NatWest Group General Counsel in 2016, prior to retiring in February 2022.
Michael is recognised for his strong leadership and regulatory and risk management expertise and is an experienced coach and mentor.
Michael joined Gillespie Macandrew as Chair in July 2022.
