Greg is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Property team.
Greg has extensive experience in all legal aspects of commercial transactions. He has a keen interest in the real estate finance sector acting for funders and borrowers, investors and developers.
He also currently acts for major retail tenants dealing with both acquisition and management of new stores, including new build units, with considerable experience in commercial mixed-use developments.
Greg previously worked in Dubai as part of the legal team advising government departments on a number of major residential and commercial property schemes, including Jumeirah Lake Towers and The Palm, Jumeirah.
Acting for a global coffee operator in the acquisition of new build “drive-thru” units.
Dealing with all Scottish aspects of an investment purchase of £310m UK portfolio from receivers and administrators.
Acting for funder in respect of real estate elements of £80m retail park acquisition purchase of a unit trust.
Acting for major bookmaker in their Scottish store acquisitions.
Advising on Scottish real estate aspects of £94m acquisition of a mixed use portfolio of 25 office, industrial, leisure and retail assets.
Acquisition of development sites in Glasgow and Aberdeen, both with forward funding agreements for investment sales of approximately £30m new build student accommodation.
Advising major retailer on anchor store lettings (100,000 square feet +) in three new shopping centre schemes in Dundee, East Kilbride and Inverness.
