Gillespie Macandrew alongside Toronto-based law firm Shibley Righton and Swedish law firm 7Wise assisted Johnson and Johnson Foundation Scotland (JJFS) in connection with a significant cross border funds investment. The Women’s and Children’s Health Technology Fun was established, with JJFS as a key initial investor, to invest in health tech firms that address the health needs of women, children, and adolescents or make health systems more resilient. The Fund has US$30 million in commitments and looks towards achieving an ultimate fund size of more than US$100 million. It expects to make its first investments in Q1 2022.
