Gillespie Macandrew is pleased to confirm the appointment of Lois Newton as a Trustee of the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI).
Lois is an experienced agricultural lawyer in the firm’s market-leading Land & Rural Business team and advises farmer, estates and a wide range of rural businesses. The charity was founded in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and in response to the agricultural crisis of that time. RSABI now offers comprehensive practical, financial and emotional support to people across the agricultural industry.
Lois commented: “I am delighted to join the board of Trustees. RSABI provide vital services to support the agricultural and rural community, and the demand is increasing as the sector faces a number of challenges.
