Gillespie Macandrew announces the appointment of private client specialist, David Mowlem to its partnership. David, who is dual qualified in Scots and English law, joins from Turcan Connell and brings 15 years’ experience advising individuals, business owners and their families on tax and estate planning. A Chartered Tax Adviser, David brings the number of partners in the firm’s Private Client and Tax team to five and is the sixth appointment in this area of the business in the last 12 months. In 2022 the firm welcomed Legal Director Stewart Dunbar from Blackadders, Tax Associate Mariola Seeruthun-Kowalczyk from Burness Paull, Solicitor Michelle Young from Carey Olsen, Paralegal Euan Scott from Brodies and, at the start of this year, Solicitor Katie Marshall joined from Gibson Kerr.
