RHET Perth & Kinross is pleased to announce its sponsorship by Scottish law firm, Gillespie Macandrew through the support of its Early Years Farm Resource Box initiative. This partnership aims to enrich early agricultural education for young people across Scotland.

The Farm Resource Boxes, designed by RHET, provide essential educational tools and resources to help students better understand the agricultural industry and its significance. These boxes include interactive materials and engaging activities that bring farm life to the classroom, fostering a greater appreciation for the sector among the next generation.

Gillespie Macandrew’s sponsorship reflects the firm’s commitment to promoting the future of Scottish agriculture and supporting education within the sector. By backing this initiative, the firm underscores its dedication to contributing positively to the community and ensuring that young people gain valuable insights into rural and farming life.

“We are delighted to be long standing supporters of the Royal Highland Education Trust’s and most recently their Farm Resource Box initiative,” said Lizzie McFadzean Partner in the Land & Rural Business team at Gillespie Macandrew. “This sponsorship aligns with our values of community engagement as we believe it is crucial to inspire and educate young minds about the importance of agriculture and rural life in Scotland”, added Alan White Partner in the Land & Rural Business team at Gillespie Macandrew.

The Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET) is renowned for its efforts to bridge the gap between schools and the agricultural industry, providing educational opportunities that are both informative and inspiring. The Farm Resource Boxes are a testament to RHET’s innovative approach to agricultural education.

Tara Clark, RHET Perth & Kinross Project Co-ordinator ‘We are absolutely delighted to be working with Gillespie Macandrew on this project and give our sincere thanks for supporting our charity.”

“We are looking forward to giving more children the opportunity to learn about food, farming and the countryside and help them develop their understanding of the environmental, economic and social aspects of our local area in Scotland.”
