Amy Eakin

Senior Associate, Land and Rural Business

Having obtained an LLB from the University of Aberdeen and completing her traineeship in a mid-sized central belt firm, Amy spent 5 years at a leading private client firm working in the property team before joining Gillespie Macandrew in January 2022.

Amy’s focus is on rural property transactions, including buying and selling farms, forests, estates and country houses, assisting clients to secure their properties to raise finance, and advising clients on general estate management. Being brought up in Orkney has instilled an understanding of the rural landscape, and this has sparked an interest in crofting law.
