Lauren has substantial experience of both the practical and legal issues affecting rural properties and landowners, having lived and worked in rural communities. She has acted for landowning clients in a broad range of matters including the purchase and sale of farms and estates, agricultural tenancy matters, advising on general estate management, bank security work and renewable energy projects. Lauren has a particular interest in crofting law and has advised both landowners and crofters on various matters, including resumption, division and decrofting applications, letting, schemes for development and statutory rights to buy.
Her pragmatic and straightforward approach allows Lauren to identify and address her clients’ legal and commercial needs effectively and efficiently.
Lauren is also a member of the Rural Affairs Sub-Committee at the Law Society of Scotland.
