Max Reid
Solicitor, Energy & Strategic Land
Max is a Solicitor in our Energy and Strategic Land team. He is involved in a diverse range of property work including large-scale energy projects and strategic land matters as well as assisting energy companies with their network infrastructure, substations and connections arrangements across Scotland.
Max completed his Scots Law LLB (hons) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. He Joined Gillespie Macandrew as a trainee solicitor in 2023 and in addition to working within the Energy and Strategic Land team is able to draw on experience from our Dispute Resolution, Residential Conveyancing and Land and Rural Business teams. Max qualified as a solicitor in September 2025 following completion of his traineeship.
