Tamzin Munro

Tamzin is a Senior Solicitor in our Energy and Strategic Land team and is qualified in England and Wales.

Tamzin has a wealth of real estate experience as well as in house experience working for both a registered social landlord and a domiciliary care company. Within the energy team, Tamzin supports large scale energy companies in renewable onshore solar and battery projects and acts for both individual and commercial clients in a wide range of English and Welsh property transactions including commercial sale and purchases, option and leases and refinancing.

Most recently Tamzin has been supporting a large scale energy company meet the National Grid imposed TMO4+ deadline by securing relevant land rights via option and lease agreements to maintain connection offer and Gate 2 position.

Tamzin is dual qualified in Scotland; England & Wales.

Sector experience includes:

• Acting for an independent fuel distributor in an intercompany transfer and renewal of a lease in Gloucestershire including deed of assignment, licence to assign, agreement for lease and lease;
• Assisting on the onshore real estate aspects of the acquisition of land for the converter and sub-stations required for an offshore wind project hitting land fall in England;
• Acting for a private client in a number of commercial and residential sales south of the border to facilitate a change of lifestyle purchase in Aberdeenshire;
• Acting in the taking of a lease for a waterpark and activities centre in Blackpool;
• Assisting a European renewable energy company in relation to several battery storage projects in England including advising on Heads of Terms, carrying out title due diligence, negotiating and drafting options and leases.
