Associate – Private Client

We are currently recruiting for Associates to join our established Private Client Team.

Our Private Client team’s work is varied due to the nature of our client base and provides advice on all aspects of private client matters along with related tax issues.  This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a broad range of work and increase knowledge and experience with a specialist team.  It is expected that the successful candidate will handle a wide range of private client service areas with particular emphasis in support of:-

  • Wills;
  • Executry administration including advising on complex tax paying estates;
  • Tax Planning with a particular focus on  IHT including reliefs such as APR & BPR;
  • Trust creation and management with a view to advising on technical Trust law and asset protection;
  • To advise private clients on complex private client issues, including contentious executries and trust matters;
  • Powers of Attorney and Guardianships.

Candidates will possess a desire to actively contribute to the development of our successful and forward-thinking team.  They will be confident in working independently and running their own caseload, but also be willing and able to work with other members of the team on larger or more complex transactions.  They will contribute to the financial success of the team and the Firm by meeting agreed targets.  Candidates will be expected to have experience of contributing to business development and marketing strategies.

Applications are invited from candidates with at least 5 years’ PQE in a relevant area however applications from other candidates will also be considered.  This is a full-time position however consideration will also be given to part time and flexible working.
