Rachel is a Solicitor in our Land & Rural Business team advising clients on a wide portfolio of rural property matters.

Rachel grew up in rural Angus and completed her Scots Law LLB at Abertay University before moving to the University of Edinburgh to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Rachel joined Gillespie Macandrew as an Intern in 2022 and returned to carry out her traineeship in 2023, qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2025.

Throughout her traineeship, Rachel has gained experience across a variety of areas of property law ranging from residential, commercial and rural property matters, as well as estates and trusts.
