Gillespie Macandrew supports Figures of Speech event as part of Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022

Leading Scottish law firm, Gillespie Macandrew announces its support for a literary event celebrating friendship as part of Scotland’s Year of Stories.  The programme of in person events will take place throughout 2022 and bring together writers and artists from across Scotland led by the City of Literature and the Scottish Storytelling Centre.  The series will cover six key themes (friendship, music, love, future, place and big ideas) and the event supported by Gillespie Macandrew will take place on 24 June and feature bestselling author, Val McDermid and prize-winning poet and writer, Michael Pedersen.

Partner & Head of the Gillespie Macandrew’ Charity team Lianne Lodge commented: “Our firm has a long and proud history of championing the arts and we are delighted to offer our support to this celebration of Edinburgh’s rich and varied literary landscape.”
