Gillespie Macandrew’s Dispute Resolution team are looking to recruit a Senior Solicitor or Associate.  Subject to the candidate’s interest and experience, it is anticipated this role will have a particular focus on property litigation.

Our experienced Dispute Resolution team advises on a broad range of property disputes on behalf of businesses, landowners, commercial landlords and tenants and community groups.  The team’s work includes advice on dilapidations, rent and lease arrangements, servitudes and rights of access, nuisance and boundary disputes.  They are actively involved in Sheriff Court, Court of Session, Supreme Court, Scottish Land Court and Lands Tribunal litigation and our team includes two solicitor advocates and experienced mediators.

Candidates will possess a desire to actively contribute to the development of our successful and forward-thinking team.  They will be confident in working independently and running their own caseload, but also be willing and able to work with other members of the team on larger or more complex cases.  They will contribute to the financial success of the team and the firm by meeting agreed targets and contributing to business development and marketing strategies.

The role is likely to suit a DR solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE but all applications will be considered. This is a full-time position however consideration will also be given to part time and flexible working.
