Different, unique and standing out of the crowd concept. A red baloon is different and above the other gray ones, representing the individuality in the masses.

Leading Scottish law firm, Gillespie Macandrew has announced the promotion of nine lawyers, including a new partner.  Experienced rural business solicitor, Lois Newton has been appointed partner in the firm’s Land & Rural Business team, while Andrew Leslie, Sarah-Jane Macdonald and Ross MacRae have been promoted to Legal Director.  Caitlin Keegan and Rae Gilchrist are promoted to Associate, and Conner McConnell, Ross Matthew and Cheryl Hogg are promoted to Senior Solicitor.

These latest promotions recognise the depth of talent across the firm’s Banking & Finance, Dispute Resolution, Energy & Strategic Land, Housebuilder, Land & Rural Business, Residential and Private Client teams.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Graham-Campbell commented:

“It is a privilege every year to announce our internal promotions and I am particularly proud to recognise these colleagues for their valued contribution, notwithstanding the continued uncertainty of the last year.   These promotions demonstrate our commitment to investing in and developing our people.”

The firm has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth and advises clients on all areas of land and rural business, private client, commercial real estate, energy, tax and disputes, combining a personal approach with industry-leading expertise.
