Our experienced team has expertise advising on a broad range of property dispute on behalf of businesses, landowners, commercial landlord and tenants and community groups.  We are actively involved in Sheriff Court, Court of Session, Supreme Court, Scottish Land Court and Lands Tribunal litigation and our team includes two solicitor advocates and experienced mediators.

Commercial property disputes

We regularly advise on commercial property disputes and are skilled and experienced in disputes between landlord and tenants.  We can also advise on dilapidations and disputes around rent and lease arrangements.  Our clients include commercial landlords and tenants, developers and landowners and we have a particular track record advising on servitudes and rights of access, nuisance and boundary disputes.

Construction disputes

Our team regularly handles defect and warranty claims, claims arising from repudiation and termination of contracts, professional negligence and dilapidations claims are also areas that where we can provide support.

Where disputes arise that cannot be resolved through negotiation, we have extensive experience of arbitration and adjudication, as well as formal litigation in the Court of Session and other commercial courts.

Planning disputes

Our planning team regularly advises organisations, landowners and community groups in relation to planning disputes.  We have particular expertise in relation to judicial review and the planning appeal process and provide clear, pragmatic advise throuhgout.
