Alan is a partner in our corporate team and advises businesses, charities and individuals on a wide range of matters. Alan supports commercial clients to set up, purchase, grow and sell businesses, as well as, establishing joint ventures and advising on contracts generally.

Alan’s work in the charity sector extends to preparing governing documents, managing applications for registration of new charities, implementing reorganisation schemes for older charities and helping charity trustees through regulatory inquiries. Alan was formerly a Legal Officer with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator and is accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in charity law.
