Cheryl has experience in a wide range of rural and agricultural property related matters with a main focus on purchase and sale transactions along with all land aspects of energy projects.
Cheryl acts for private landowners and estates in the purchase, sale and leasing of agricultural, forestry, development and crofting land. She works with estate clients on a wide variety of transactional and management related property work. In relation to the energy sector, she is experienced in acting for both landowners and developers on the property aspects of wind and hydro power projects and the transmission of electricity.
She seeks to obtain a strong understanding and appreciation of a client’s goals and expectations at the outset and prioritises them throughout, providing a pragmatic view and straightforward advice with a view to protecting the client’s interests, and achieving the best outcome for them.
