Miles McKay
Solicitor, Dispute Resolution
Miles is a solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team and advises clients on a broad range of commercial and land related disputes and also on aspects of employment, estates and trusts, and public law. He has a keen interest in planning law and is involved in giving advice relating to the disputes arising from large scale energy and infrastructure projects. His varied practice has seen him appearing in the Sheriff Courts as well as acting as an instructing agent in the Court of Session and the Scottish Land Court.
Miles obtained his LLB (Hons) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Dundee. He holds a degree in both Scots and English law.
Miles joined Gillespie Macandrew as a trainee solicitor in 2021, he completed seats in the firm’s Commercial Property, Land and Rural Business and Private Client teams before finally joining the Dispute Resolution team, where he has remained after qualifying as a solicitor.
